We see again another clear example to the intolerance of those on the left fringe of society for the truth contained within the pages of the Bible, and the utter con-tempt they have for the Christian faith.
I am referring to the attempts made by the ACLU, and the far-left fringe to blur the lines between Biblical Christianity and the religions of the world.
Purposefully they misinterpret the words of our founding fathers in order to sup-port their humanistic/evolutionary philosophies. Heretical pipe dreams coming from the minds of mere men who in their arrogance cast themselves as wiser, and more astute, than the rest of society.
Our laws are most certainly based upon the law of God contained in his Holy Word, the Bible. Laws handed down from the hand of the great lawgiver God Almighty, whose ways and means far exceed mankind’s, and are foreign to the puny minds of men, for God’s Holy standard, and mans fallibilities are diametrically in opposition to each other.
Men are willfully blinded to the true context, to which our laws were written. They living in open rebellion to God, openly denying their Creator in hopes of removing themselves from under his moral law, they are fooling themselves into thinking that they will escape his hand of judgment in the last day, all the while heaping upon themselves more and more judgment.
Lets examine what the Constitution actually says.
There is clear evidence to which “God” the writers were referring to, the terms used throughout the Declaration, and the other writings of the founders clearly point to the God of the Bible, and not to any other god or religion. It reads as fol-lows “the laws of nature, and of natures God”, later in the text the writers refer to the “Creator” revealing to us that natures God is the Creator God of the Bible. We also read these words “ We, therefore, the Representatives or the United States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World….“
It is clear as to which God these men were referring to, the God of the Bible, and not to any other god or god’s or any other religion.
Yes, the words that our Founding Fathers penned long ago show us the true interpretation when read in the proper context. These men had deep spiritual convictions, took the Scripture very seriously, and incorporated their deep faith in the God of the Bible into the legal documents they were creating, documents that would shape the morals and faith of an entire nation.
The words of Thomas Jefferson, ”God who gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds that these liberties are a gift from God”.
Patrick Henry “It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of the other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and the freedom to worship here.”
The words of Joseph Story “There never has been a period of time when Common Law did not recognize Christianity as lying at its foundation.”
Alexis De Tocqueville “there is no country in the world where the Christian Religion retains a greater influence over the souls of men than in America.”
Only in the United States of America can we claim such an outstanding truth, that Christianity is the foundation that was laid at the birth of this great nation and those of other religions draw their freedom to practice their faith from this very foundation. If this foundation be removed, I fear that the collapse of the American society will ensue. Yet men toil endlessly to remove our Christian heritage under the guise of ‘tolerance’, and ‘diversity’.
Moreover, if the law of the land continue to be made a mockery of by unstable, and evil men. Those who live justly, abiding by the law, making an honest at-tempt to live humbly and peacefully, must take heed and rise up to the challenge of restoring the foundation on which our liberty stands.
