The timeless rendering of untold hearts,
freed from eternity's dawn;
casts it's spell from whence it departs
to the special ones it's set upon.
Traditionally noted with pen and ink…
from this one to that it's been told,
from man to woman, parent to child…
it's magic never grows cold.
Over and over it's soothed the ears,
and brought tears of joy to the eyes…
provided security, comfort and glee
and is reflected back amid sighs.
No measure of gold, nor treasure so grand,
compare to what spoken these do,
they render assurance…an uplifting hand…
those wonderful words "I love you".

Dennis, this was a little gem of a poem. I love the swirl and flow of the words you used, and those last two lines just tie it all together in a beautiful and most satisfying way. Really lovely. With love, Deb
