I don’t know if you can see
The angels hiding in the trees.
Or maybe they sit down to rest
Their wings close to an eagles nest.
They are there, and we could see
If that were the way God meant it to be
Faith in God and a promise from Him
Is the only way we can feel them.
So when the breeze begins to blow
Think of the angels here below.
They are sent by God with a job to do
They are sent by Him to help me and you.
They are there, maybe resting in trees
Keeping close watch over you and me.
Created by God angels protect and serve
To keep us from danger around the curve.
The things we can’t see are the strongest of all
The things that keep us from a fall.
Maybe they fly with the hummingbirds
Maybe they whisper to us little words.
Maybe they are in the song of the crickets
As evening settles and darkness thickens.
Wherever they are, believe they are there
God sends them, He promised, He hears our prayers.
