This world glorifies worldy deeds,
and exhausts worldly treasures.
There is provided grace and mercy,
that has no earthly measure.
A forgiveness that forgets,
a protection that never ends.
Hearts can not imagine,
Nor can minds comprehend.
God so powerful with all His sovereignty,
leaves to us a future that is unkown.
And with His majestic voice He speaks,
"My child, you are not alone."
He freely offers the choice
Of whom we shall trust
Which is often hindered,
by our own worldy lust.
He proves Himself constantly,
while we are unaware.
Selfishly we ponder,
why God is not there.
We give up to easily,
"I quit".."I'm done."
Through the dark night,
God thunders, "We've just begun."
The burden will become heavy,
and seem too much to bear
And we may believe that,
we've had more than our share.
He ensures us of His comfort,
by embracing us in His love.
For the earth is the Lord's,
and the fullness thereof.
His omnipotence reigns over,
more that that know to man.
He is God all by Himself
because of Him we stand.
