Am I triumphant my Father, Am I ?
Is not the pain the same as before?
Sure I have a laugh, but the pain,
It never ceases, what must I do?
Surely You are not to blame,
No, it is my foolishness, my fault,
Your wisdom, I did not listen to.
My tears are mine to keep.
You give mercy all of my life,
Yet how do I repay You?
I fall, and I rip Your grace to shreds.
You are a merciful God.
I wanted none of what happened,
And You know, this was not my choice.
But blame lies with me,
I could have done a little more, Oh FATHER
I could have done a little more, FORGIVE ME!
I could have given,
I could have shared,
I could have sacrificed,
I could have prayed.
I could have done more, Oh My sweet Father,
I know I could have done,
a little more.
