Somethings Never Change
As I search my soul within, as I change the way I think,
I stop to look behind, and find myself on the brink.
As I look far ahead, to that last horizon,
I know I can never change, the time I last saw you
Somethings never change, they were never meant to be
As we stand across the vast space, there’s only you an me to see,
So why is it that there is nothing we can do,
Lost, so lost, in the sands of the desert, like a drop of dew.
I can never find myself, as I try to find you,
Look for things around, but find nothing new,
Some say things will return as it was in the start,
But how can I find what I am looking for, when its lost in my heart.
Somethings never change, they were never meant to be

So why is it that there is nothing we can do,
Lost, so lost, in the sands of the desert, like a drop of dew.
Look around you, the world is changing so much,
But I wouldn’t know the difference, I’ve simply lost touch
Try as much, there’s nothing we can do,
I know I can never change, the time I last saw you.
