Thunder ruled the skies last night,
lightning flashed its white light
the rains had come
Day came with clouds dark and grey
as if they had more to say
the storms were not done.
Reminders of how God came to me
when I was blind and could not see
my heart was undone
He gave new life, a new creature arose
peace and love gave gentle repose
my heart was won
The sun broke through with glorious light
for now joy had come after the night
two hearts became one
God made us both, He brought us near
He meant us for each other, that was clear;
the prize was won
Now joy is mine, every day it is new
sprinkled on my heart like heaven's dew
love shines like the sun
My heart overflows with joy and bliss
nothing at all could be better than this,
we are not two, but one.
Every day it is so fresh and new
I want to shout from the rooftops that it is true,
Oh, how I LOVE YOU!!
