"We will not put stumbling blocks in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Rather, as servants of God, we commend ourselves in every way; in great endurance, in troubles, hardships and distresses, in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness, in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love, in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and the left; through glory and dishonour, bad report and good report, genuine, yet regardede as impostures, known, yet regarded as unknown, dying, and yet we live on, beaten and yet not killed, sorrowful, yet always rejoicing, poor, yet making many rich, having nothing, yet posessing everything."
2 Corinthians 6:3-13
I think this is how the Christian life is suppose to be lived. The Apostle Paul was speaking of his hardhips, yet he was not complaining, but sharing in the experiences of the early church. He had gone through good times and bad, been put through many trials and test, yet he was still who he was made to be, " a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ." Beloved, no matter who we are, we are God's ambassadors and we are called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Don't make the mistake and count yourself insignifigant, even when others, even other Christians say you are. It's easy to do, I have done it, too much. But when we are saved by grace we are called to pass on the good news of the gospel! We are called to preach the gospel in spirit and in truth. God does not put limits on us, so why do we limit ourselves? God has annointed us to share His truths, lets walk in the truth He has placed in our hearts. Don't give up. What if Jesus gave up? He never gave into feelings of inadequecy, though He could have easily done so many times. He held fast to His Fathers love. Hold fast to your Father's love! when you feel defeated, sink into the arms of our loving father and let His love and grace minister to you. He will equip you to do His purpose, and He will teach you valuable lessons. Allow Him to use you, don't limit what you can do for God, He doesn't!
