Blessed is the man, who fears the Lord,
Delights greatly in His edicts;
Mighty are those who come through him;
He takes up Truth as his own sword
To fight against the dark lord’s tricks;
With such might he fights his own sin;
He who fears God as his Reward
His eyes o’ heart are so transfixed
The world fades like unwanted din;
His heart’s prayers are not ignored;
His soul has found its needed fix;
Keeps strength in tests ever so grim;
He’s made the Lord his own treasure;
Eternal joy is his measure.
