I asked the Lord if He would show me
What He wanted me to do.
I thought it would be something great
To prove to Him my love is true.
Instead He offered me a mission
That my heart could harldy bear:
Can you live life differently
Than you would without me there?
Can you smile when you're mistreated?
Love the ones who give you grief?
Accept the tasks that you've been given
When life offers no relief?
Can you cheer someone when YOU'RE sad?
Offer hope when YOU'RE in pain?
Face the difficult with courage?
Be the sunshine in the rain?
Change the life of just one person?
Show someone that someone cares?
Live your life to prove Me stronger?
Prove that with Me you can dare..
To sing in sorrow, laugh in sadness,
Never worry or despair..
To live your life much differently
Than you would without me there?
