Satan I hate to break it to you but I am not dead yet
I know you think you had me when I started to worry and fret
But I want to tell you something and I think you’ve just forgot
A high price was paid for me- so sorry – this child is bought
I know you’re gonna come with every arrow in your possession
But since you’re so slow to remember let me teach your small mind a lesson
All the handwritten requirements that were contrary against me
Jesus nailed them to the cross so from you I’d be set free
All those arrows and trials you send to try and make me break
God uses it for his glory – for the testing of my faith!
I’m not being prideful for I know that it’s Christ in me
And with every trial I had to learn -that is the hope of glory
So keep knocking on the door and yell your idle threats
This soldier is still pushing through and I am not dead yet!
