Relating to Others
Christians in the body of Christ need to learn how to not be so quick to make the trials and tribulations that others go through seem trivial. It may be trivial to you because you have not gone through it or experienced it. But for the Christian that is dealing with it right now it is important to them. If you have never gone hungry then you don’t have any idea what it feels like to be hungry. If you grew up rich then you have no idea what it feels like to be poor. If you are happily married and your husband has never cheated on you, you have no idea what the sister feels like whose husband has cheated on her.
No we should not magnify our problems we should not dwell on our problems. But we should not downplay other peoples problems either. If you got a cold and believed God for your healing and it took place good for you! But if the other sister has a cold and her faith is not strong enough to believe for her healing, who are you to criticize and judge? Peter walked on water but the other disciples did not. Why do you think the bible says “According to your faith so shall it be done unto you?’. For those who have never been under demonic attack or were not aware that they were under demonic attack, they can’t fathom what someone who is in constant warfare feels or goes through. We as Christians need to be sensitive to what others feel and go through.
Even if you feel a person is just exaggerating and being ridiculous season your words with salt. Every person has different trials. We need to be sensitive to the feelings of others. A certain Man of God made a joke about someone putting a check in the offering for $1. little did he know that the person who put the check in the offering that was all that the person had and they wanted to give even if it was only $1. The Man of God was insensitive he may not have meant to be but he was, but Jesus knew the person’s heart and intentions. There are those who do not believe that Witchcraft exists but for those who have been under attack by this spirit, they know it does exist. Everyone has a trial custom made for them so don’t be so quick to tell another Saint it is not that serious. What you may not consider serious for you may be very serious for someone else.
Let’s keep each other built up in prayer. Let’s try to relate to what others are going through. Your day may come when you need someone to relate to you and they tell you “it’s not that serious!’.
