In today's world of christianity, this is what most of the unbelieving world is saying regarding most of us.
The unbelieving world knows fully well what Christians believe. We tell them that we put our faith and trust in this man called Jesus Christ. We tell them that we pray to Him regularly. But for the most part, all they can say about us is, "Awww, that's cute he believes in Jesus.
The reason they only see it as cute, is because they have not witnessed the life-changing power behind this confession. The reason they only see it as cute is because they have not witnessed the resurrecting power behind this confession.
Behind the Spirit-filled Christian is an anointing and the desire to preach the good news. Behind the Spirit-filled Christian is a devotion to walk in righteousness. Behind the Spirit-filled Christian is a soul-grieving passion to walk away from wickedness. Behind the Spirit-filled Christian is a heart-felt passion to try to love those around him.
When these elements are missing the unbelieving world does not see a Man or Woman of God in their midst. To our shame, when these elements are missing, the only thing that they see is this person who has put his trust in that adorable baby from the Nativity Scene.
