You walked along this land,
gently stretching out your hand.
You're precious and glowing,
my ever lasting light.
You sacrificed your life,
shedding me from within
freeing me of my sin.
I hear your words
as they echo through my soul.
I struggle each and every day,
praying to glow as thee.
Hoping as people look within me
all that is reflected is you.
Wanting to share your truth,
Oh Lord, how I long to be as thee.
Casting your light
amongst all those that I meet,
touching them deep
so they too may begin,
to shed within.
Feeling the warmth of your presence
knowing they are truly free from their sin.
Oh lord, teach me to be as thee.
