To Have Love

To have all Gifts that Lord can give
Gifts of strength, words of prophecy to live
To speak with tongues as angels speak
To heal those who are hurt or weak
To have faith that makes mountains shake
To take the dead and make awake
If I understand all earth’s mysteries
But if I fail to love those I see
With out Christ’s love where I stand
A cymbal that clangs is what I am
Just a bunch of exasperating noise
If I have great gifts without God’s Joy!
