I haven't had much experience in writing, but I promised Wendy I would try & get her story out. Wendy was my daughter, my hero, my best friend. She was told in 1997 that she had a very reare form of cancer and would die within a few days. God had other plans. The Lord led us on an incrediable journey. Wendy & I was able to travel alot for treatment. Every time we would take one day & make it a mother, daughter day. We saw New York, rode a buggy in Central park, Art museams, Shopped in alot of malls. Through all of this Wendy never gave up. Never Questioned God.She knew she would go to heaven & prepared for it. She left notes, journals, pictures she had sketched, she even wrote her own memorial. We saw miracle after miracle. 3 years ago the doctor's said Wendy was medically dead. When Wendy died in Dec, of 2006, she was still walking, They said her body was covered in tumors, even in her bones. Three weeks before Wendy died she stood with me at my dad's funeral, held me up & read psalm 23. Through Wendy, God taught us love, patiences, kindness, respect for the little things, it brought our family so close. A few hours before she died we were all at her bedside. The last words we all spoke was I love you. I know we will see her again.
