We quietly wait for our hero to appear
While many suffer a far and a near
Have we not for a moment stopped to think
We are living a lie and close to the brink
They say its religion so tried and true
They say many churches hold all the clues
This will all be clear but not to day
The lord will come get us he can't stay away
In the meantime, while we have time to wait
Lets all pray for peace and destroy all the hate
This world is not perfect for you or for me
Thou we can change it praying sweet Lord I love thee
