Help me, my God, I should have learned by now
Not to try to start the day without You
If I donít pray and connect to Your heart
The dayís empty no matter what I do
All this running around
Only runs me into the ground

And so I come to You
Lord, I am weary
And these burdens weigh me down
So here I come to You
Lord, draw near to me
Youíre the only peace Iíve found
I lay it all at Your feet
Along with all of me
And here in Your presence
I will rest

God, Iím so sorry, see how itís hurting me
For a moment trying to live this way
Again I see that all the strength in me
Is Your presence in my life every day
Now my hands are open
For this heart again is broken

And so I come to You
Lord, I am weary
And these burdens weigh me down
So here I come to You
Lord, draw near to me
Youíre the only peace Iíve found
I lay it all at Your feet
Along with all of me
And here in Your presence
I will rest

Oh, my God, wonít You
Fill me with Your love and peace
Oh, my God, will You
Make my fears and worries cease
Lord, I know You can
For thereís healing in Your hands

And so I come to You
Lord, I am weary
And these burdens weigh me down
So here I come to You
Lord, draw near to me
Youíre the only peace Iíve found
I lay it all at Your feet
Along with all of me
And here in Your presence, I will rest

Matthew 11:28-29 ~ Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

This is a great song and prayer. The best thing to do when we are tired is to lay it at His side and let Him lead, behind Jesus is the best place to be, the Good Shepherd leads His sheep to the right places.
