I Think I See An Angel

Oh, Mommy, look! I think I see an angel.
He's shining there, within the Christmas lights!
If I just reach my hand a little higher, I might Touch him before he takes his flight!

I always wanted just to see an angel.
For, I can feel them by my bed at night.
That special one (I think he is my guardian), He's always there when bad dreams cause me fright.

I don't wonder that he came to see our Christmas tree,
So beautiful with tinsel and the trim.
I only wish he'd stay awhile and shine around our home.
There are some things I'd like to share with him.

Oh, Mommy, quick, my finger almost touches
A radiant face that no one could believe.
Come, quick, and see the angel that has found us And shines his light within our Christmas tree.
