God Bless America
The land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her....
On this Independence Day that represents the liberation of our country; you see on several churches and buildings the phrase "God Bless America".
During the 911 terrorist attacks, we saw our state senators put aside all differences and sing with perfect unity the words to God Bless America.
I count it a tremend0ous blessing to be an American. A land that God has indeed shed His light and favor upon. A rich country; that sites on our currency "In God We Trust". I pray for and celebrate the soldiers who are and have protected our freedom and I pray God's continued mercy. I do not want what I am about to say to sound un patriotic. Yet, it is something that needs to be said.
When I was thinking about the song God bless America, I realized that God Has Blessed America. And when is America going to bless God. In the midst of a land of vast resources and opportunities; we have to be mindful of what the Lord told the children of Israel; that when I bring you into this good land be careful that you forget not the Lord thy God that delivered thee.
God has blessed America -
America - let's bless God.
Let our light so shine that men might see our good works and glorify the father in heaven.
Let's put God back in front and no longer be silent. We can no longer afford to be silent as our children are able to see and hear things on prime time TV that contaminates their spirits.
Let's give glory to a God who has given us so much.
Father,
we thank you that you have blessed America with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. Thank you Father that we are a country that to whom much is given, much is required. Strengthen us and lead us to be a beacon of light to a lost and dying world. Thank you Father, that you have blessed America. This land that I love. You've stood beside us and guided us with the glory of your light that shines above.
Thank you God that you've blessed America, my sweet home.
