Don’t be afraid my little one
Your Daddy’s always near
I will never leave you
Let your heart be full of cheer
Your troubles have been many
But I’ve had my eyes on you
Set your heart upon me
I will always bring you through
Although it seems this valley
Is deeper than the rest
Place your heart within my hands and
You’ll be truly blessed
For I am your redeemer
Your lover and your friend
You can trust my love for you
Because it has no end
I know the end from the beginning
Your times are in my hands
Your flower will not wither
As those in desert sands
Set your roots down deeper
Drink solely from my well
At the end of this trial
You will have new truth to tell
Of my faithfulness and goodness
And of my love for you
How I nurtured and cared for you and
How I brought you through
