My "watcher" program found today,
a virus had snuck in,
and hid itself among the programs,
wanting to destroy from within.
The 'watcher' had sent me a message,
asking me what to do,
for it will always be up to me,
to let it stay or remove it from view.
I clicked the button that said 'delete
and the 'watcher' cleared it away,
and my computer was again made safe,
no harm would come to it this day.
It reminded me so of how God is,
He sends a 'watcher' when we are reborn,
standing guard over our heart and soul,
ready to protect and warn.
Jesus is my 'watcher' - His Spirit is in me,
keeping my heart so fresh and new,
He is not there to lock me up,
but to show me what is real and true.
What a gift to me this 'watcher' is
bringing blessings and mercies ever new,
and when I was given the desire of my heart,
it was so ready to say "I LOVE YOU!"
For God in His wisdom knew just what I needed,
What would make my happiness complete,
and now every day I discover it anew,
the wonder of our love so sweet!
Such a joy to know that the 'watcher' in me,
sees and knows the 'watcher' in you,
and together we can follow our Lord,
sharing our love so deep and true.
