Relinquish your heart to God,
Giving Him honor and laud;
As you turn to Him in prayer,
With the good and bad you share.
Give up your sins you disguise,
Trying to hide from His eyes;
It is your biggest downfall,
Thinking He does not see all.
Then you will not be ashamed,
In hearing His Word proclaimed;
Feel confident from the start,
His Spirit enters your heart.
Your troubles will go away,
While you no longer stray;
You will feel safe and secure,
Temptations no longer lure.
Be filled with hope without fear,
Knowing God is always near;
You will be forming a bond,
Assured of a life beyond.
