Candle
Surely you have not forgotten our story,
A thousand thoughts that love you so,
They spoke of memories and a guiding light,
The light turns on, here it comes now.
He has loved you, from time eternal
He grasps you so tightly in His grasp,
My heart cannot bare the sound,
I creep with force, yet He enters my soul.
My future so cloudy, and now so vulnerable,
Help me, my body cries, but my soul rejoices,
My soul tingles, oh, what am I going to do?
The light has turned on again.
The racing sensation continues, and I go on,
There is no rest for this heart of mine,
All days seem so much like a blur I cannot see,
But I have my faith, I am filled, and surely, I am free.
