Father I thank you for all of the good things in my life
I thank you for the beautiful sunrise
and the beautiful sunset
I thank you for all the blessing that I haven't received yet
I thank you for your intentions
and the strength that you give
I thank you for your mercy
and how you forgive me
I thank you for the sky
that surrounds me with beauty
I thank you for the animals
especially my pets
My dogs are good company
and never forget
to greet me or
treat me with
affection.
I know they love my attention.
I thank you for my wife
who endures all my strange behavior
and rather than rant she shows me favor
She cooks fabulous meals that are full of flavor
and on some lucky nights
she allows me to savor her.
I thank you for Jesus and all that He's done
all that He's said allows me to overcome
The hardships that I face
and sins that disgrace me
The blood that He gave
for my life to save
cannot be repaid.
All I can say
