He deals with each of us in a unique way, according to our faith, maturity, and experience.
I am going to write about my experience with angels for the next few testimonies.
I was in a very conservative group. We wore long skirts and sensible shoes. We usually wore dark colors and denim. It was a tradition from generations back.
One year we hired two workers who wanted nothing to do with our traditions.
They wore bright colors and girly hair bows and dresses. It was okay but what bothered me were their fascination with fingernails!
They painted their fingernails in every color of the rainbow, changing up, adding pictures and decals...
I could not understand why they were so fascinated with their fingernails. I forgot that it was not my business!
One day I was sitting in the caferteria eating a sandwich. Out of the corner of my eye I watched these girls discuss and observe their latest fingernail art.
Lately this were beginning to really bother me.
God is touched with the feelings of our infirmities-even the silly ones.
God said to me, "What is wrong?"
I said, "Father they are so concerned with their fingernails. I know they are girls in their twenties but still..."
Then God showed me a vision!
God showed me Angels. The Angels had on every color of the rainbow. They had on diamonds, pearls and every precious gem. They had on vests embroidered with seed pearls and diamonds.
Everything about their garments were bright and rich.
Even their shoes had gold and silver accents on them. What was amazing more than anything was the Angel's hair. Some had golden hair, pink hair, every color imaginable.
This vision lasted about 10 seconds but I remember every detail.
Then God told me that all things are His. Every color, every beautiful thing upon the earth, He made it for his pleasure and the pleasure of his children.
He let me know that we have a choice in what we wear as long as it is to his glory. He just wants all of us to be happy and full of joy.
I was so astonished and admonished that it was 20 years before I told anyone about the vision.
Some things we keep to ourselves because they defy all that we believe, even though we know it to be true. The only reason I told someone after all of those years is that I got a confirmation from a recent author who wrote that she saw Angels with golden hair and other colored hair.
God does not want us to let unimportant things make us sad.
Young girls like pretty things. They are in their formative stages.
Sometimes to be honest, they are trying to attract the attention of the opposite sex, but we must keep them in our prayers.
There are more important things to be concerned about than someones fascination with the fads of the day.
