Breath from Heaven,
Breathe life into me.
Fill my senses
With beauty to see.
Wind ripples waves
In the sandy grass.
Clouds cast shadows
O’er the field of brass.
Breath from Heaven,
Breathe life into me.
Fill my senses
With beauty to see.
A soft whistle
Rises from the weeds.
The breeze carries
An ocean of seeds.
Breath from Heaven,
Breathe life into me.
Fill my senses
With beauty to see.
The air is clean,
My nostrils sated
By flower scents,
Making air weighted.
Breath from Heaven,
Thank-you for that bright,
Brief, small, special,
Lovely gift of sight.
Then I take up my white cane and walk home again.
