As a Christian I am on fire
But as a mere man sometimes I get weary
I get weary and burdened with my own affairs
Sometimes to my shame I allow my affairs to keep me out of God's will for my life
Sometimes to my shame I allow my affairs to keep me from doing God's calling for my life
However, there are those times in which God will allow something to burn in my soul
There are those times in which God will allow something to touch me in such a way that I can't sit still
Something that will prompt me to get up and rise and to do what He called me to do
He called me to stand on the street and to preach His son Jesus to a dying world
There are many people walking the streets similiar to the person who killed Kelsey Smith
As Christians, for every one of us who reach a person such as this for Christ, we play a significant role in rescuing a future Kelsey Smith as well as her possible abductor
To our shame, the young man who killed Kelsey Smith, may have been someone who was not pursued by his neighboring Christians, as Christ had pursued us prior to our conversions
When my friends and co-workers say to me, "Tyrone, it is cold and rainy outside today, why are you going out with your sign?"
I will say, "I am doing it for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and Kelsey Smith."
