What a luxury in the morning
to look at the clock and then...
turn back over, sink into the pillow,
and go right back to sleep again!
To rise an hour or two later,
pour fresh coffee into my cup,
and thank God for the joy of this day,
His happiness just fills me up!
Can I ever thank Him enough
for the sun that shines so bright,
or for the night sky filled with stars,
each a brilliant point of light?
Each morning He pours out brand new gifts,
fresh as the morning dew,
but everything pales in comparison
to the wonder of love He gave me in you!
That's really why I spend my days in joy,
for love colors everything I do,
what incredible happiness fills my day,
just to say to you again, I LOVE YOU!
