We are called out of our Profession,
To serve in the kingdom business, our vocation
Like Simon Peter was a fisherman;
Before he became fishers of men
Living all to serve Him is the call to grace
Paul a tentmaker, a builder, edified the body of Christ.
Though many remain in the market place,
Still serving the King of kings that quenches all thirst.
The challenge of market place ministry
With the standards of the Kingdom intact
While still ensuring dominion is Holy mystery
Comes with great conflicts, afflictions as a matter of fact.
So said our Lord “the children of this world
Are in their generation, wiser than the children of Light”
The righteousness of God brings peaceful reward
The blessing of the Lord makes rich without sorrow and plight.
Satan is the prince of this world indeed
Christ is Lord of all and fills all in all.
The children of this world perfect greed,
A world system that makes the children of light fall
When they do not take heed.
In Christ we have dominion and stand tall.
The end time battle is in the market place,
Kingdom business must be financed.
Our God Almighty provides the grace.
He shows the way that is well balanced
Gradually but surely, the kingdom business triumphs glorious
God’s ways pervade the market place through His will.
Peace reigns in the place of rumpus, war and chaos,
Heaven on Earth is sooner a done deal.
We must focus on the author and finisher still
The Harvester sooner comes for the wheat.
