It was so nice yesterday,
when all the work was done,
to sit and listen to the falling water,
feeling the calmness flow over us as one.
It is just a tiny waterfall,
set on the deck to see,
but oh how that falling water,
is a blessing for you and for me.
It reminds me so of our love,
the water endlessly flows,
and even when it is out of sight,
the sound is with me wherever I go.
It runs over the rocks of trouble,
creating a pool of peace so true,
and along the way it soothes the soul,
reminding me of how much I LOVE YOU!
I will always listen for the water,
and say a prayer with each drop that falls,
to thank God for giving me the wonder of love,
for in you He's given me it all!

Dear Trish, I just had to come back. I had a sudden thought, especially about one particular stanza in your poem and I was wondering, how would you feel about collaborating something with me using a portion of that stanza as a base? A bit of prophetic poetry if you will. If you're interested, drop me an e-mail and I'll try to give you something as an example of what I'm thinking of. K? ((hugs))
This poem just really, really stirred my heart, Trish. Ask your dear hubby and he will tell you, if you don't already know it of me, that I am a great lover of waterfalls... both big and small. I will close this page more blessed than I was before I opened it for sure.
