" How come you sound so bitter this morning?".
" I don't know" his young friend exclaimed.
" Nicholas, the first step for a deeper relationship between us is for you to be totally honest with me".
" Ok" he said as he put his robe on that was in the closet and kept talking to the Creator on the phone. " I'm bitter about work because someone with less seniority than me got the job promotion I thought I was going to get".
" Nicholas, be totally honest with me about your feelings and your faults" the Creator said with a cheerful voice." And I will take away your bitterness".
" Ok" he replied with hope now in his voice. " I need to take a shower and get to work".
" Will you come next week for Thanksgiving dinner?".
" Sure" Nicholas replied as he hung up the phone.
