Genisis 29 - 30
Unheard but by God, I, Leah, cry
of all to be pitied, the most pitiful am I
Deemed by love as unworthy, life's cruelest blow
In vain, I tried to change an outcome I already know
Six strong sons I bore you, bartering for your affection
Even they were favored less, sign of your rejection
I, desperate, devoid of beauty's treacherous charms
traded newly dead Mandrakes for a night in unloving arms
Rachel, my sister, your beloved; and love gives no explanation
I am witness it can't be bought, sold, bartered or taken
Given freely is the only plane on which loves exists
Tho the unloved may cry, demand, threaten, insist
This truth so enduring, encompassing, unyielding
Even God does not exact love from a heart unwilling
Unfair as it may be, yet there is no one to blame
Except love, who never bothers to apologize or explain
Unloved but by God, I, Leah, was shown mercy and grace
For in the Messianic bloodline my son, Judah, has place
Yes, in this kingdom, for want of a husband's love, I thirst
My solace, God's Kingdom where the last will be first
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
