Another week has slipped on by
My, how fast they seem to go,
Another Sunday morn has dawned
to set my heart aglow.
For this is the day we gather together,
to praise our God above,
and celebrate that He sent His Son,
to rescue us in His love.
The joy for me is not that this day comes,
but for all that I get to do,
the wonder is doubled every time,
that I get to share it with you!
To know that your voice will be raised with mine,
in every song we sing,
and to sit hand in hand to hear the Word,
no greater joy could this day bring.
And I can thank Him over and over,
for all the things He just knew what to do,
but most of all, for the gift we share,
and all the ways I can show how I LOVE YOU!
