When my heart sinks deep in me
And uneasy calm rules my soul;
When my heart bleeds within
But all physicians fail to see
I know my Saviour knows
My deepest pain He will ease
When my cry nobody hears
And my plea no one heeds;
When my might seems too frail
And my voice sounds so faint
I know my Saviour hears
My silent pulse He surely feels
When trials of life cram my ways
And relief and calm seem so far
The heart yearns, yels and cries
Yet the mouth remains dumb
I know my Saviour knows
My numb heart He surely feels
When my paths are rough
And the fight within is tough;
When am pressed all around
And the future seems so blurred
My hands, the Saviour holds
In His arms I am forever safe
For He surely understands!
