MY OWN WILDERNESS
I've walked in my own wilderness,
It seemed like forty years,
When sin begins to taunt my soul,
It brings along its fears.
But God has brought Deliverance,
Time and time again,
And rescued me from my own self,
How I bless that Friend.
Life has placed a balance,
By which we're weighed each day,
Do we walk in light or darkness,
God or satan have their way.
We have power of our choices,
God has given us free will,
If we stay close and commune with Him,
We'll walk in fellowship still.
Our promise land is within us,
Sealed by the Holy Spirit,
Heaven Himself living in my soul,
Come now and draw near it.
