The flames rose high in the seven story building. Several fire trucks had already arrived, yet the fire was not contained. Chief Obrien and his team immediatly unstrapped themslves from the truck and loaded their gear, they were going inside. They had learned that there was a seven year old boy on the fifth floor.
"Alright, everybody move in!" yelled Obrien as he charged through the door with an axe. His team swifty followed, carrying a fire hose to fight the fire from the inside. Just as He and his team were about to go up the third floor stair way, a piece of the ceiling collapsed above them and continued to fall until it reached the first floor.
The fire was burning hotter then ever and Obrien signaled his team to open the release valve on the fire hose. His team nodded, and slowly turned back the nob. At first their was a rumbling and then finally the hose shook violently as streams of rushing water shot out with the force of gun powder. His team carefull aimed the hose the best they could at the sections that were on fire.
Obrien signalled his team to move foreward and make their way to the next floor. His team acknoledged his command and slowly carried the hose all the while shooting the water at the rising flames of burning fire. As they entered the fourth floor they found it to already have a safe pathway to the staircase. Obrien signaled for all but one team member to stay behind and fight the fire with the hose. Rookie John Brakes volunterreed and made his way up the last fleet of stairs. As Obrien and Brakes were about to open the door, it exploded with such fury that it nearly killed Brakes who was standing next to it.
Obiren, charging into the room with his axe, frantically searched high and low through the flames for the seven year old boy. "Help Me! Mama!" Obrien quickly ran in the direction of the cry for help. Finally coming upon the boy, he hoistered the kid over his soldiers and made his way back down the stairs, but they were gone!
He frantically tried to understand, the stairs had been burned away and his team was no longer in the building. He was stuck on the top level of the burning building that was about to collapse. Runing to the window he opened it and looked down. The fire crews and his team were down their with a trampoline for them to jump down onto. Obrien nodded in understandment and dropped the boy off the side of the building and watched as the boy landed on the trampoline safely. He then sent Brakes down as well, but this time Brakes broke the trampoline! He was ok, but the trampoline was a mess.
"Were going to raise a ladder chief!" yelled a team member. One of the fire trucks moved into position and raised it's ladder. But it only went four stories high and it was several feet away from the building. Obrien knew what he had to do, but he knew that without some type of miracle, he would surely die. Quickly he prayed for God to send him two angels to guide him to the ladder.
With the prayer in mind, he ran towrds the window and jumped. As his foot left the wall and he found himself flying through the air, he knew he would jrop at this moment, but he didn't. Instead, he remained in a supernatural flight towrds the ladder until he reached it and it was at this point that the building exploded in a massive cloud of debri and rubbish. The fire truck backed away and Obrien looked on at what could have been him and what a Miracle God had performed for him.
