The shadows in my mind
perceive another time.
A lost soul withering away
from the sins of by gone days.
Searching for the Immaculate
Light;a child crying out in the
night.Searching for the immortal
answers to know life’s greateset
mystery;to believe.
Religions of the past holding
no tenants over my heart.
Beckoning To know the heart of God;
to experience His peace is
what my soul needs.
A Heavenly Gateway to my mind;
revelations revealed
so divine.The Finger of
A Loving God reaching out to
Touch my heart.From the moment
I was born His Eyes never did
Depart.
A longing for my soul;
to be safe and secure found
In The Father’s Arms.
A mighty refuge for my soul;
like no other I have ever known.
When I hear sweet whispers
from God’s Heart;Immaculate
Light radiates in my soul.
This Child is found safe
and secure found in the Greatest
Love I know.

night.Searching for the immortal
answers to know life’s greateset
mystery;to believe....This paints a touching picture--a child crying out in fear in the night, searching. As a child, I used to cry out in the night for fear that the Lord had come and had left me behind. I was a Christian and my father assured me that I was safe in Jesus' arms and He would never leave me. I never forgot that assurance. Thanks for this poem, Dee. God bless you. Keep writing!
