There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. --Deuteronomy 33:27
The Riders sits upright in His saddle. He looks across the heavens to see His kingdom outstretched before Him. He looks down to earth and hears the heart cries of His people. He prepares for the ride. His shield on one side, and his outstretched arm on the other. The White Stallion snorts, revealing a heavy cloud of breath. He digs His hoofs into the stars and in a flash They are off. Together, they descend the heavens and skim the surface of the earth. The Rider reaches down with His everlasting arms and scoops up those with up-stretched hands. He holds them close as the Stallion ascends climbing higher and higher till they reach the High Place. He sets them on solid ground, and hems them in with walls of everlasting love. In a blink, the Rider and His Stallion returns to the heavens clothed in the clouds of His majesty and prepares for yet another ride.
The God of Jeshurun is the Upright God. Heaven is His dwelling place. In the physical realm, heaven is the expanse that hangs over the earth. It is where the storehouses of dew, rain, frost, fire and snow rests. The clouds cover His majesty because it is too great for us to behold.
The eternal God, my refuge and yours, hems us in with His love and with His everlasting arms. He is ready to catch us when we fall or when we stand with outstretched hands to heaven.
I find so much comfort in knowing that resting in your arms is eternal; that your dwelling place is near and your grasp is just a whisper away. I lift up outstretched arms and say, “Come, Lord Jesus, Come!” Bring us Your new Heaven and Your new earth. O my Father, do not delay!
In Jesus Name,
