I prayed a prayer to witness,
To a soul today,
And went about my business,
Just as I do always.
And in the time appointed,
By God who birthed that prayer,
I found myself soon conscious of,
A sense of answered prayer.
A prompting by the Spirit,
A reminder to my soul,
This is the one to witness too,
A message from Mission Control.
At first I thought, this one?
Is this the person Lord?
Then place the plan You have for them,
And help me share Your Word.
Bring the conversation around,
To things about Your Son,
I know You do it easily, Lord
Your the Professional One.
Before I know it, it's happening
It's almost automatic,
The Gospel message is being shared,
By a sometime's called religious fanatic.
O how I love to share it,
God has given it top priority,
A more blessed story could never be told,
Then that blessed Gospel story.
Another answered prayer I've witnessed,
God again, proved Himself True,
He's brought His Word, into life's market place
Maybe it's coming to you.
