Sorry it has taken so long to comment on your poem, Dee, but perhaps you know the reason. I haven't been on the computer much these days. Hart is recouperating from a leg amputation and I have been "hovering" so that I can help him in every little detail. But I have to learn to stand back a little, so I am taking this chance to catch up on my FW comments. Your poem is an inspiration. Yes, we do need to be taken to a higher place, a place of quietness. I have felt so DRY spiritually lately. I needed this uplift.
Dear Dee, So often, we think of mountains as 'obstacles to climb around' but your mountains 'of God's Grace and Praise' are images of peace and joy! I also loved this phrase: "Take me,Lord,to that higher
Place;where I soar in
Your Grace." Soaring in God's Grace - it doesn't get much better than that! Thank you, again, dear Dee! With love, Peggy
