Eternal Love

Jesus, my Lord! Oh, what a Savior!
He took my guilt and shame away.
He left His home in Heaven, above,
To bring me God’s great love.
He lived and died for me
That I might be free.
What can I do? How can I thank Him?
His grace I never can repay.
I only know I’ll love my Lord forever.
His precious blood has paid my way.
I once was lost; a wretched sinner.
But, Jesus came, so tenderly.
He touched my heart with His sweet love;
Prepared a home, above.
He set my soul on fire.
His will is my desire.
I do not care what path He leads me,
Just so His footprints I can see,
And, when I reach my home ~ up in Heaven,
I’ll sing His praise eternally!
I give my heart to Christ, my Savior,
The One Who cared so much for me.
When life’s great trials I must face,
I’ll see His blessed face.
His love and strength shall be
Sword and shield to me.
When men despair, when all seems darkest,
Heaven’s ray of light shall fall on me.
Oh, praise the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior;
Whose love endures eternally!!
