His Damascus start in me,
When light shined in my heart,
And freed the truth I'd always owned,
Encased in tombs so dark.
The restless yearning feelings,
That was carved deep in my soul,
Was placed there by the maker,
Where his strongest anchor holds.
Scales fell when spirit spoke,
When the soul could not deny,
The throne that sets in heavens realm,
Came calling from on high.
He baptized me in favor,
Took the hurt and pain away,
Made me air to all his glories,
On my Damascus road that day.
I don’t know how it was for you,
I only know for me,
Since that meeting now I know,
My spirit was set free.

same for me, He set me free too! being jewish, it truly was like Pauls conversion though nowhere near as intense. But he did change my heart and "removed the scales." God bless
