It took thirty long years
Now my dream has come true
And all through those years
I’ve always been in love with you.
God has truly blessed me
To bring a man like you back in my life
I won’t take this blessing for granted
I promise my love and I’ll be a good wife.
I promise to love you forever
And take care of you and our home
I want to share our lives together
And I promise you’ll never be alone.
I remember a promise we both made
Not to let anyone or anything destroy our love
I have put you first in my life after God

It has taken thirty long years
And sweet heart I love you still
