I have a little magnet on my cubicle wall at work that says:
Rule 1.Donít sweat the small stuff Rule 2.Itís ALL small stuff
It is all small stuff! Especially if you have a great big God like I do. Everything to God is small stuff. He can change a situation around so fast you wonít have time to blink! After all, He's God.
Why do we doubt God and His power? Why do we always rely on ourselves and think we are in control of our own situations? I believe one reason is because we donít believe God is still working miracles today. But He is! A repented, changed life is a miracle. The fact that the trees continue to bud every Spring, flowers pop up out of the earth again, the sun and moon stay on their course and the stars are still shining. All those things and many more are miracles of our awesome God. Have you ever seen a newborn baby being born? Now, thatís a miracle that happens every single day.
God changed me Ė and believe me when I say, that is truly a miracle! I was incapable and still am of making any changes in my life for the better but my God is an awesome God and He changed me by the power of His might through Jesus Christ.....my Savior.
Stop worrying about what you donít have, canít do, or canít change. Stop being so miserable! Start believing God for miracles. I think our joy in Christ Jesus rests in our mouth. And where does Jesus say the things that come out of our mouth come from? Our hearts. When we praise God continually and maintain a thankful heart, God blesses more and more and gives us His joy Ė overflowing joy.
If you are a negative, doubting person, you are going to rob yourself of a miracle! Maybe many miracles over a lifetime! What a shame it would be to not to be all you can in Christ because of unbelief, negativity or doubt.
Get your mind off yourself and on Jesus, on heavenly places. He will take care of all your needs. Just trust Him, read the red letters in your Bible and believe in Him. Make it a red letter day today! Do what God is asking you to do to glorify Him. He wants your obedience and total submission to Him. And, He is just waiting to show you a new miracle! God Bless.
Ephesians 3: 14 -21 KJV - For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. That he would grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith that ye, being rooted and grounded in love May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth and length and depth and height And to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages world without end. Amen!
Well said! If only we would always remember that every event in our lives is "small stuff" in God's eyes. But to us some things are gigantic--like the loss of a limb, like my husband has just experienced. But he has a positive attitude, a good example to me, who sometimes does "sweat the small stuff." Thanks for the good message.

I used to have a record by the country music singer, Carl Smith, that had a song that said, "Everytime I hear a newborn baby cry, then I know I've seen the works of the Lord." I wish I still had that record, for that song was a favorite of mine. Thomas
