Nicholas closed the white picket fence gate as he stuck one hand into his new warm grey winter coat. It was now early November and by the cold waether, Nicholas knew winter was coming. He rang the doorbell as he took a bite of a chocolate candy bar he had in his other hand. He was eating the chocolate because he was depressed and that was his way of coping. He rang the doorbell again and the door opened to show the Creator standing there with a cookbook in his hand.
" Hi Nicholas" he said with a smile as he walked toward the small kitchen. " I'm looking at cookbooks to get ideas for Thanksgiving dinner".
" Oh" Nicholas replied as he finished the candy bar and threw the wrapper away.
" Try some fudge I just made" he said as he put a container on the small kitchen table and poured a glass of milk for his friend.
" No thanks" Nicholas replied as he shook his head at the delicious treat in front of him. " That's all I've been eating lately because I've been depressed".
