You are my King, my Saviour and my Lord
You are the Alpha and Omega, the one true God
You are the same yesterday, today and forever
So when will I stop just coming to you when I am in danger
You breathed life into me and formed every part of my being
There is nothing that didn’t begin with you, even creativity
As everything on this earth was formed through your imagination
So when will I stop praying to you without having a conversation
There is nothing that you can’t do as you say there is nothing too hard for you
You’re a Living God who is so powerful death could not claim you
You are a God full of mercy, to the point that your only Son had to die for me
So when will I stop taking advantage of your grace, telling myself you will forgive
You are a Holy God, perfect in all your splendour and glory
Great is your name and in it there is power and release for anyone
Your love is indescribable, everlasting and unconditional
So when will I stop coming to you only when I have problems
The things you can do are copyright protected and called miracles
The angels in heaven and all creatures on earth worship you endlessly
The pain and agony for Calvary could not have been endured by man
So when will I stop living my life without fearing you and your name
Excellence is all you can give and is your standard for everything
Happiness and joy, gladness, peace and hope are all embedded in you Almighty
You have set a place for our souls to rest, where we can be with you in heaven
All the silver and gold belong to you, and you are the great treasurer
So when will I stop doubting that you will provide and give me the answer
I know I need to change so Lord of Hosts please hear me in Jesus's name
Fill me with the fear of you as I long to talk with you, and wipe my sins away
I am truly sorry for only coming to you to seek your hand and not your heart
I want to bask in your love and presence, just listening to your voice my God
The Holy Spirit alive and active, not quenched but fiery, keeping our bond strong
