Today I awoke to bright sunshine,
instead of the expected rain,
and the leaves were dancing in the trees,
to the wind's unheard refrain.
It made me wish I could hear the music
that God gave the breeze to bring,
for I would like to dance in praise,
and oh, the thanks to Him I would sing!
For He has given me this golden day,
and He has given me my every wish,
and each hour and minute will be so special,
to spend them with you is just pure bliss!
My only wish throughout the day,
is to find what to say and do
that will show in a thousand new ways
how very much I LOVE YOU!
Just as the sun today was an unexpected joy,
so every day is my love for you...
and my cup run over with happiness,
to think of our love so true.
I treasure each moment we are together,
and long for you when we're apart...
I am so blessed to be your wife,
and my love for you fills up my heart..
