Nicholas walked by the white picket fence and noticed the Creator on top of a ladder doing something with the gutters. " What are you doing" he asked as he stood now next to the ladder.
" Good afternoon Nicholas" the Creator quietly replied as he took leaves out of the gutter and put them in a wicker basket that he had on top of the ladder." I'm getting leaves out of the gutter, can you help me?".
" Sure" Nicholas said. " What would you like me to do?".
" For right now just hold the ladder" he said as he kept putting leaves in the wicker basket. " Later, I'll need the hose to clean out the downspouts".
" Nicholas, did you know your mere presence brings me pleasure" the Creator asked as he came down the ladder and dumped the wicker basket into a leaf bag.
" Just holding the ladder for you".
