Surrender your heart to God,
As you turn to Him in prayer;
Praising with honor and laud,
And your inner thoughts to share.
Give up your sins and confess,
Things only you know about;
While God will surely bless,
When clearing your shades of doubt.
Then go on out and proclaim,
While not being discreet;
Preaching on His Holy name,
To everyone that you meet.
Your troubles will go away,
Like a river out to the sea;
As your night turns into day,
Letting you live righteously.
You will rest safe and secure,
Having a life filled with hope;
Becoming spiritually mature,
Embracing the entire scope.
